English will not be an official EU language after Brexit, says senior MEP

Danuta Hübner, the head of the European Parliament’s Constitutional Affairs Committee (AFCO), suggested on the 27 June 2016 that English would not be one of the European Union’s official languages after the United Kingdom left the European Union.
