Norway adopts EU climate goal, officials downplay Paris

Norway's government announced on 4 February 2015 that it would match the climate targets established for 2030 by the European Union in October 2014.

However, according to EUObserver, some officials involved in the negotiations ahead of the Paris climate meeting in December 2015 started downplaying expectations around a future agreement.
