The European Commission adopted January 2009 its latest annual report on the overall implementation of the Lisbon Strategy in the macro and micro-economic and employment fields in the European Union. In addition, 'country chapters' analyse progress in each Member State in implementing the Growth and Jobs Strategy, taking account of the economic and financial crisis.
