The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) ruled on the 28 June 2012 that the trial of former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic could proceed on 10 of the 11 counts against him, but upheld his request to dismiss one count of genocide.
