In March 2015 it has been a year since Russia annexed Crimea. Now it was transforming the Black Sea peninsula into a military fortress. The biggest losers in this new situation are the Tatars.

The Russian news service Sputnik International reported 'March 16 marks the anniversary of a historic referendum that brought the Black Sea republic of Crimea back to Russia after 60 years of Ukrainian rule in the region'.
