EU has little choice but to try to keep the Iran deal alive

The EU is unlikely to risk a major confrontation with the US over Donald Trump's decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal. However, it should take steps to preserve the deal, in the hope that Trump will not be re-elected in 2020.
