European Council for Information Associations

he European Council of Information Associations acts as the voice of the unified opinion and collective expertise of the key European information and documentation associations to major governmental and non-governmental bodies. The Council promotes the exchange of views between the 15,000 members of the associations and their 42,000 contacts across the countries of the European Union, and encourages the development of a pan-European approach by the information and documentation professions of the needs of the information society.
