Media reported in July 2015 on remarks from a Finnish MP regarding multiculturalism and how he sees a successful society in his country.

Olli Immonen, from the nationalist Finns Party - which is part of the governing coalition party - decried the 'nightmare called multiculturalism' and rallied his compatriots to fight for 'one true Finnish nation.'

While Finland's prime minister Juha Sipilä said such comments were totally unacceptable, Finns Party leader Timo Soini - also the country's foreign minister - had not yet addressed the issue.
