Following Cameron, Marine Le Pen pledges EU exit referendum

Marine Le Pen, leader of the french far-right party Front National, stated during an interview with a Greek channel on 24 March 2015 that she was prepared to ask French people to vote on a EU in/out referendum, should she win the presidential election in 2017.

Ms Le Pen tried to build on the momentum, after the FN achieved its best result ever in local elections which had taken place just a couple of days before.
