Germany’s Russia Policy Shows No Signs of Softening

Berlin’s reaction to the Salisbury poisoning in March 2018 indicated that German Chancellor Angela Merkel was still in control of Russia policy, and that, for now, the new German government was not deviating from the course that she set in 2014 after Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
