	Summary: Resolution adopted by the plenary of the European Parliament in April 2017 on the use of vegetable oils. Further information: This document urges the European Commission to take measures to phase out the use this kind oils - including palm oil (as a component of biofuels) - that lead to deforestation, preferably by 2020. The initiative also defends the introduction of a single certification scheme for palm oil entering the European Union's market.
