Italy’s referendum: much ado about little

On December 4th 2016, Italians voted in a referendum on constitutional reforms proposed by Matteo Renzi. The author argues that, despite widespread fears, Italy’s political and economic stability was unlikely to be jeopardised by voters' rejection of the reforms.
