Report on Public consultation on defining criteria for identifying endocrine disruptors in the context of the implementation of the Plant Protection Product Regulation and Biocidal Products Regulation

The European Commission published on 24 July 2015 the conclusions of its consultation procedure regarding endocrine disruptors. This consultation was set up to help define criteria for endocrine disruptors as required by the regulations on biocidal and plant protection products.

The European Union was initially set to hear from the EC on setting defining criteria for these disruptors in 2013. Following the publishing of these results, an economic impact study would have to be done before the EC could make its final decision on hormone disrupting chemicals.
