Russia approves government proposal for negotiations towards creating a joint military group with Armenia

Media sources reported in November 2016 that Russia's president had approved a government proposal to create a joint Russian and Armenian military group.

According to the approved decree, the Russian defence and foreign ministries were ordered to hold talks with Armenia on reaching an agreement to create such a military group including members of both countries.
