Scotland analysis: Business and microeconomic framework

Part 4 of the UK government's Scotland analysis series, which looks at Scotland’s place in the UK and how it contributes to and benefits from being part of the UK.

The analysis explains why the UK is a single market that the EU cannot match when it comes to the free flow of goods, services, capital and people, and that joining the European Union after independence would not compensate for the loss of the UK single market.
