The purpose of this Notice is to give technical guidance on the climate proofing of investments in infrastructure covering the programming period 2021-2027. This guidance is required by Regulation (EU) 2021/523 (also known as the InvestEU Regulation) and deemed relevant for Regulation (EU) 2021/1153 (CEF Regulation), Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 (Common Provisions Regulation - CPR) and the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).

The guidance was developed by the Commission in cooperation with potential partners for InvestEU along with the EIB Group. It may be complemented with additional national and sectoral considerations and guidance.
