In this paper, the Welsh Government explains how negotiations on the future relationship between the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) can be best taken forward in a way which protects vital Welsh interest. It makes it clear that changes are needed to protect the economic, social and environmental interests of Wales and the whole UK. The government vows to continue to seek to influence the UK position and continue to call for a formal end-to-end role in the negotiations, starting from agreeing the negotiation mandates through to final agreement.
