The impact of a snap election on devolution

The Institute for Government is an independent charity in the United Kingdom working to increase government effectiveness.

The news on the 18 April 2017 that the United Kingdom Prime Minister would seek an early general election for the 8 June 2017 was just the latest twist in the ever-entertaining soap opera of contemporary British politics.
