The Treaty Establishing a Constitution for Europe: Part III

This paper looks at Part III of the Treaty Establishing a Constitution for Europe (the European Constitution) which was agreed at the Intergovernmental Conference on 18 June 2004. Part III contains the detailed arrangements for the Policy Articles in Part I of the Constitution. This is one of a series of Library Papers considering the European Constitution, comparing new articles with existing ones in the Treaty Establishing the European Communities and the Treaty Establishing a European Union.
