Video conference of research ministers, 27 November 2020

EU Ministers responsible for matters relating to Research held a videoconference on 27 November 2020. The agenda included the following items:

• Exchange of views on new R&D investment targets proposed in the European Commission's Communication on A new ERA for Research and Innovation;
• Briefing on the state of play of dossiers concerning research and innovation within the framework of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2021-2027;
• Briefing on the state of play regarding the European Open Science Cloud and the Open Science Policy Platform (OSPP);
• Briefing on the state of play of upcoming legislative initiatives concerning European institutionalised partnerships;
• Update on scientific opinion prepared by group of experts regarding pandemic preparedness and management;
• Presentation by the Portuguese Council Presidency of its priorities in the field of research and innovation.
