10 years in charge: A portrait of Angela Merkel

In December 2015 it was noted that Angela Merkel was named Time Magazine's Person of the Year for 2015. Merkel had shown strong leadership during the euro, Ukraine and refugee crises, the magazine wrote explaining its decision.
