2015: Serbia opens its first negotiation chapters

At the end of 2015 Serbia made a step forward towards EU accession. Two years after the start of the accession talks with the EU, after having successfully completed the screening of the EU acquis and reached key new agreements with Kosovo, it opened its first negotiation chapters with the EU.
