2nd EU-Iraq Cooperation Council, 18 October 2016

The second Cooperation Council under the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) between Iraq and the European Union was held on 18 October 2016. The EU's High Representative for Foreign Policy headed the EU delegation, while the Iraqi delegation was led by the country's foreign minister.

The meeting included several relevant topics, like the humanitarian and stabilisation challenges facing Iraq and the nearby region, peacebuilding and reconciliation, long-term prosperity and the country's regional relations.
