2nd Southern EU Countries Summit, Lisbon, 28 January 2017

A meeting of heads of State and Government of seven southern European countries was held in Lisbon on 28 January 2017. This was the second summit of the so-called 'Club Med', following the first meeting in Athens in September 2016.

The leaders adopted a Declaration in which they confirm the 'aim of enhancing our cooperation and of contributing to a strong and united European Union;'.
