Adoption of conclusions on a future EU industrial policy strategy

Ministers at the meeting highlighted the need for a long-term strategy for European industry in order to boost competitiveness, growth and innovation across the European Union.

The conclusions were adopted at a meeting of the Competitiveness Council.

On 12 March 2018, the Council of the European Union held a debate on the EU's industrial policy and adopted a set of conclusions on a future strategy for the sector.
