Adoption of conclusions on the EU’s approach to Responsible Sourcing of Minerals

The Council of the European Union adopted on 23 June 2014 a set of conclusions regarding the responsible sourcing of minerals.

These conclusions were published following the adoption by the European Commission of a legislative proposal in March 2014 strengthening the regulation making sure trade in minerals from high-risk areas do not finance conflicts.
