Adoption of negotiating position on proposal creating an EU School Scheme for Milk, Fruit & Vegetables

The European Parliament's plenary session adopted on 27 May 2015 its position on a draft law proposing the establishment an EU-wide School Fruit, Vegetables and Milk Scheme. This followed a previous vote of the Parliament's agriculture committee.

The proposal was put by the European Commission in January 2014. Negotiations were scheduled to start once the Council of the European Union once it reached an agreement on its own position.
