Agriculture and Fisheries Council, 3 April 2017

A meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council was held on 3 April 2017. The agenda includes the following topics:

+ Discussion on the Omnibus regulation, with a view to providing political orientation on the agricultural aspects of the proposal;

+ Exchange of views on a report published by the European Commission on the implementation of ecological focus areas;

+ Briefing on development in a meat fraud in Brazil and the discussion regarding the simpligication of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in the context of the period post 2020.
