Audi and Skoda say 3.3m cars have ‘cheat’ emissions software

Carmakers Audi and Skoda announced on 28 September 2015 they had a total of 3.3 million cars fitted with the software that allowed parent company Volkswagen (VW) to cheat emissions tests in the United States.

Separately, German prosecutors started a probe against VW's former boss Martin Winterkorn.
