The European Commission issued its Autumn 2015 European Economic Forecast on the 5 November 2015. The Commission reported that the economic recovery in the euro area and the European Union as a whole was now in its third year.

The Commission also predicted that it should continue at a modest pace in 2016 despite more challenging conditions in the global economy.
