Azerbaijan and Armenia make ‘progress’ on Karabakh

After a series of diplomatic talks, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev says he will pursue the military option against Armenia if a long-running border dispute over the region of Nagorno Karabakh is not resolved in talks in Munich starting on the 22 November 2009.

However, Azeri and Armenian leaders made significant progress in the talks on the disputed enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh, a French mediator said on the 22 November 2009.
