Britain could have ‘special relationship’ with EU after Brexit, says German foreign minister

Report and analysis of comments by Germany's Minister of Europe Michael Roth on the 16 August 2016 in which he discussed the relationship between the United Kingdom and the European union after the UK left the EU. He suggested Britain could be afforded ‘special status’ outside the EU but ruled out any ‘cherry picking’.
