Brussels set to investigate UK aid for EDF nuclear plant

EurActiv reported on the 3 December 2013 that EU regulators were likely to open a formal investigation into whether Britain's offer of state guarantees, to help finance a nuclear plant to be built by France's EDF, conform with the bloc's rules, according to Competition commissioner, Joaquin Almunia.
