Car emissions: MEPs’ inquiry gearing up for second half

Half-way through the mandate of the European Parliament's Committee of Inquiry into Emission Measurements in the Automotive Sector (EMIS), this feature highlights the lack of information from the European Commission on emission measurements and details of expert group work on vehicle type approval procedures.

Since its constituent meeting on 2 March, the EMIS commitee held 12 meetings including hearings. The inquiry's final report was scheduled to be concluded in spring 2017.
