Ministers at the Environment Council on 19 June 2017 adopted Conclusions reaffirming the EU and Member States' determination that the Paris Agreement on Climate Change was fit for purpose and could not be renegotiated.

The Conclusions were adopted following the United States Administration's decision on 1 June 2017 to withdraw from the Paris Agreement.
