Commission reports on first deliverables under the Partnership Framework on migration with third countries

On 14 December 2016, the European Commission announced that specific progress had been made under the Partnership Framework with third countries on migration. The partnerships between the European Union and its Member States' and with the five priority countries, Ethiopia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Senegal had been deepened and further developed.

Basing on the first results, the European Union would continue to tackle migration in all its aspects during the application of the Partnership Framework to ensure a sustainable process.
