Contest starts for plum EU posts

Following the announcement on the 19 November 2009 about who will become the new President of the European Council and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the race to secure senior jobs in the next European Commission intensified with the big member states keen to secure the most important economic dossiers.
