Council and European Parliament agree on updated Community fleet capacity rules

The Committee of Permanent Representatives of the Council of the European Union endorsed on 7 March 2014 the informal agreement reached with the European Parliament regarding an updated regulation on the EU's fleet capacity policy aiming to promote inland waterway transport.
