De Villepin attacks Sarkozy ‘vindictiveness’

Dominique de Villepin, former French Prime Minister, lashed out on the 21 September 2009 at the 'vindictiveness' of Prench President Nicolas Sarkozy as he went on trial for an alleged attempt to smear his rival, in a case heavy with intrigue and revenge.
