Spain has rejected any suggestion April 2011 that it might be the fourth eurozone member to seek an international bailout. After Portugal announced that it would need help, attention is focused on which country will be next.

However, the rise by the ECB of eurozone interest rates on the 8 April 2011 does not help peripheral eurozone economies such as Spain.
