Debate on proposed changes to electoral system in Moldova

Thousands of people took to the streets in Moldova's capital city Chisinau on 11 June 2017 to protest both in favour of and against proposed changes to the country's electoral system.

The reform was proposed by the government's party in March and comprises a mixed system of proportional and first-past-the-post votes.
