Development of the South Gas Corridor project

Feature on the development of the South Gas Corridor (SGC), which aimed to bring gas from the Shah Deniz field in Azerbaijan to markets in Europe.

On 17 May 2016, Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras launched the construction on a 550-kilometre section of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, the final stretch of the SGC from the Turkish border to southern Italy.
