Discussion on the situation of fundamental rights in Hungary

The European Parliament's civil liberties committee held a discussion on 27 February 2017 regarding the situation of fundamental rights in Hungary.

Issues like the situation of asylum seekers in the country, the independence of the Constitutional Court and media pluralism were raised during the meeting, which was also attended by the Hungarian minister of justice and members of NGOs.
