Energy efficiency deal ‘possible’ by July 2012

EurActiv reported a European Commission official as saying in May 2012 that the Energy Efficiency Directive was likely to become reality under the Danish EU Presidency, which ends on 1 July 2012. The announcement came amid warnings from green campaigners, who say the amended text had become too weak.
