Turkey's Justice and Development Party (AKP) regained its majority in parliament after a fall in its popularity in the first general election in Turkey in June 2015.

The OSCE Election Monitoring team saidd that the 1 November 2015 vote had been marred by a media crackdown, violence and other security concerns.
