Article reports that Turkey’s prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sought to win Kurdish support on the 3 September 2010 in a referendum to be held on the 12 November 2010 on an overhaul of the judicial system, promising more constitutional change after the 2011 general election.

Mr Erdogan is fighting to win undecided voters in the closing stages of an acrimonious campaign – seen as a dry run for the approaching election – that he describes as a 'struggle for democracy'.
