EU finalises free trade agreement with Canada

Abstract:

Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (the government department dealing with these policies in Canada) announced on the 5 August 2014 that officials from the EU and Canada had reached agreement on a final text of the European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), allowing translation and final legal review to commence.

An EU-Canada Summit would be hosted by Canada in September 2014.
