EU fisheries: Little learned 20 years later

According to a commentary feature on EUObsever by Xavier Pastor published on 11 June 2012, developments of recent weeks indicated that the European Parliament - the Council of Ministers' equal partner for the first time on fisheries issues - had already shown much more ambition than many national governments. However the direction of the council's discussions was worrying.
