EU-Japan FTA would boost growth more than TTIP

Feature published by EurActiv in June 2016, following a visit to Japan by a delegation from the European Parliament. It highlights the impact of the free trade agreement being negotiated between the country and the European Union.

The two sides agreed in March 2013 to launch talks on an economic partnership agreement. During the G7 summit held in May 2016, the commitment to reach a political agreement on the deal was reaffirmed.
