EU regulators seek to close car emissions testing loopholes

EurActiv reported that the European Union was preparing a draft legislation requiring vehicle fuel use to be tested on roads rather than in laboratories.

Their agenda is to close loopholes that allowed car makers to exaggerate fuel-saving and emissions credentials.
